I know, I take these same pictures every year, but this year is the best icing I've ever seen. The wind has blown onshore for days in sub-freezing temps. The photo quality from year to year is a measure of the improvement of the camera I can afford and the plunging cost of online hosting space. Then there's the sport of braving the cold temps, brisk wind and icy footing to get the shots. My favorite is the ice ball around the berries, a winter ornament. Bleak November is gone; it's winter season now and we're expecting a foot of snow tomorrow, giving everyone a snow day on a Monday. Sweet.
