Melissa is singing in the Community Christmas Choir this year; practice is once a week. She uses a Walkman (not easy to find one of those any more) to help her learn her part. She uses it on the treadmill downstairs and sings along. Banshees in the basement.
Here's my eleventy-seventh picture of a bridge we helped build on a trail. The method for building this one was the most efficient so far. Dave Smith cut two cedars on the spot for the stringers and Jennifer had gotten the hemlock planks donated by Andy Reed.
The December Mix is about winter which is indeed acoming in. I like the hushed mood of many of the pieces. I try to respect the darkness and quiet as the solstice approaches. Put on your winter skin and listen; we'll rock out again in January.
