Three Fixed Pups
Wing, Peg, Scout all got fixed on the same day. What a bond. They have all bounced back like champs, but Peg gets the Miss Recovery Miss prize because she didn't start snatching ball point pens from the coffee table, chewing them up and spitting the ink on the carpet. As far as I know. In her species it could be a delayed reaction. Better keep an eye on her.

While I'm writing this on Martin Luther King Day, I'm also talking to the Oracle server and my box at work using a VPN (virtual private network) client, running some processes, checking some results over the web. When some bandwidth arrives this will be great. Cable modem access is coming, but it still appears to be months away, although a wired concrete box has appeared at the edge of town. Melissa says that's how cable will communicate with the Mother Ship. I'm lucky to have her to explain these things to me.
