Winter is acoming in. A couple of inches of snow yesterday, then bright cold weather. Very cheery. We are quite busy elving and mentally I'm making end of the year lists, like lists of performers I heard live this year, or new people I got to know this year, or people who died this year, or other important changes in our lives during this year.

And resolutions. I am the queen of resolutions. Resolution No. 1 is that I will update the PU more frequently. A lot of my personal work time has gone into UnityMaine.org. A picture and a paragraph a week.

Many life-is-good moments lately. The garage-into-office renovation is moving right along, and just in time, we expect to have cable modem access available at the end of January. I saw that they were stringing fiber optic on Route 202/9, called up Adelphia and said when, when when. Working at home with fast access is a quality-of-life upgrade I've been awaiting a long time.
Scout and Wing, our 4 month old pups, continue to be greatly entertaining. We installed an invisible fence so that they can roam the 2 acres at the lake freely. Here they are in a rare moment of collapse after running the fields at Shirley's house in Skowhegan.
