Gone Festin' Gardening is back. We couldn't help ourselves. Went to Bangor on a Saturday to hit Home Depot for a few flats of pansies and put them in the ground, planted some peas, turned the compost (still had ice in the middle of the bin). Any excuse to be outside in the light. In just a few days we'll be down South for almost 2 weeks. JazzFest on opening day, then to the Gulf Coast for the weekend with family, then visiting and festin with friends we've been missing. We're leaving the Heron in the capable hands of two sets of house sitters. The mighty Gretchen will rule at the lake. Three days after we return Melissa will cater her biggest event yet, a dinner for 70. We'll be checking email regularly, and the next PicayUnity will come to you from the land of the Picayune.
